The story
Mamo was dreamed up and drawn in 2013. A little brown monkey who explores the world with his friends: the seasons, animals, counting, and what it means to be a good friend.
The first videos were made by hand, with paper, scissors and glue. That craft style has stayed. Children see that they can make things themselves, and love to copy it afterwards.
In 2026 the old videos were restored and Mamo came back to YouTube. Now in Dutch, English and Spanish, so children in more countries can sing along. New episodes are on the way.
What Mamo stands for
